Earlier this week one of my close friends introduced me to 8tracks.com, I have been through a lot with this particular friend. I have known her since we were little and we've both seen each other make lots of mistakes, but through it all we have also always had a passion for music. So if she was recommending it I knew I would like it.
8tracks can be used as a form of Internet radio, but essentially it's a website where you can make mixes online to share with your friends. My friend has already made a couple great mixes and I just finished uploading my very first! You can check it out:
I would love it if some of my other musically savvy friends were to join so we could all share mixes. It is so sad that as much as I love getting physical mixed Cd's, they usually go on my computer and I don't listen to them the way they are meant to be since all my musical is digital. I think this is a great way to bring them back.
