May Caesar Be With You All of Your Days

I forgot to include in my last post that when I ordered my shoes I was given the option to include a message with my gift and I couldn't resist, so enclosed with my shoes was this message:

Hi Kirsten!
I love you.
Do good things
and may Caesar be with you all of your days.

Love, Kirsten of the future.

It took me back to the days when Jack ordered things online and had me fill out the gift message for her.

This week at work we were busy with what we call "The Pull", where we get rid of the oldest month of stuff. Someone had missed a bunch of black coats from the previous pull and so we had twice as many coats as usual. So we decided to build a pile of coats and jump in them; it was a lot of fun!

Yesterday, I was able to go with Jack to Camp Williams in Lehi to take pictures of her reunion with her husband, probably making this the most patriotic Memorial Day weekend I have ever had. The morning was a little cold and windy, but still sunny and I felt overwhelmed and privileged to see and feel just a fraction of the love they have for each other. This is one of my favorite pictures:

Also, I am looking forward to my trip home for Alexis' wedding. I will be in town from the 17th to the 27th, and am kicking my trip off with a Stars concert at the Aladdin that night!
I also got my apartment all to myself this weekend. I have a lot to be grateful for and happy about. I have love for all of you.
