Nuts for You

Even though I am single once again on Valentine's day this year it hasn't been too shabby. First of all my interview with Dace Moore of Dace clothing went up on the Colette Pattern blog on Friday (you can read it here).

And today I saw that it was tweeted by Jen McCabe of Honey Kennedy. I love her blog so that was really exciting.

Also, there is a legend that Earnest Hemingway was once challenged in a bar to write a memoir in six words. His six words read: 'For sale: baby shoes, never worn.' So, this Valentine's day we had a challenge at 826 to write a 6 word memoir about something you love. Then I took all the memoirs, typed them up and we made the most adorable book. It is 2x2", and everyone at the office is obsessing over them today.
Look how tiny and cute that is. Plus, you can tell that this is a good picture because I am flashing some major thigh. Here is the cover:

(Sorry it's so small, but that's its actual size.)

I challenge you, my readers to come up with your own six word memoir about love, and leave it as a comment! My memoir that is included in the book is written about my love of people watching and was inspired by someone I saw on the bus that day.

"Kilted man sits with fanny pack."

First off, I want one of those books! They're so cute! Second, here's the first ones that came to my mind:
He undressed me with his eyes.
Cracked heart, again. Lucky third time?
What do you think? Sappy, I know, but a ton of fun to do!

Kirs, did you know that there is a series of six word memoir collections that are published by Smith Magazine? http://www.smithmag.net/ The original book is called, Not Exactly What I Was Planning.
